My name is Xeina Fouad. I’m a software engineer at intouch, and I’m the youngest member of the intouch family.

I’m a front-end developer. I’m responsible for the interface of our new products; the designer works on the designs, and I execute them.

I learned about intouch through a friend and on a visit to gouna a couple of months ago, I met the team and Sam. We then scheduled an interview, and I was offered an internship that led to a job offer.

I knew that Gouna is only a resort. I expected it to be a little bit bigger and to have more things to do and places to go but I wasn’t disappointed. It’s really chill, there are no crowded streets, pollution, or noises anywhere here. Though I’m more used to the city life and I’m still adjusting to the calmness and emptiness of Gouna, I’m loving it so far!

I really enjoy working at intouch cause I learn new technologies every day and I love the spirit in the office. It’s always interesting and fun and I was lucky enough to join when I did.

I live only 5 minutes away from the office, and I usually leave around 5 pm, and everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, is a walking distance from home so I don’t have to worry about the time it’s gonna take me to go somewhere. I have from maybe 6 pm to 12 pm to go out and meet friends, play a sport or read a book.

I also spend a great deal of time with my new adopted puppy: Lia. She’s an adorable Labrador whom I’m crazy about. I like the challenge of raising my first pet ever, especially when it’s the cutest pup ever!

I’m usually out with my work colleagues. We’ve gotten close really fast especially that I was either friends or acquaintances with them before joining the team. We usually hangout at one of our places and cook and if we still have some energy, we go kitesurfing or play padel tennis.
